Stretching 3.5 kilometres in length from Weymouth to Ferrybridge and running adjacent to the old Weymouth to Portland railway line, the trail is extremely popular with cyclists, ramblers and dog walkers keen to escape the hubbub of the town and stretch their legs. En route on the one hour walk catch a glimpse of many species of wildlife that include common lizards basking in the sunshine, wasp spiders spinning a web of intrigue, and at dusk bats sweeping overhead.
