Weymouth’s Jurassic Egg Hunt | 30th March – 15th April

Evil mad scientist Dr Destruction has broken out of prison and stolen the very rare Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaur egg from the National Dinosaurarium. Thinking that the Jurassic Coast is the perfect location to hide it, he has seized the opportunity to confuse the recovery team, by hiding the egg in Weymouth, whilst a collection of replica dinosaur eggs is being displayed in the windows of businesses around town.

Professor Tracy Eratops and her colleagues have been searching all over Weymouth for this extremely valuable egg and really need your help to find it.

Pick up or download the ‘Jurassic Egg Hunt’ trail form, follow clues to locate all 15 of the replica Dinosaur Eggs and write down the name of the business where each egg is displayed.

In the last window of the egg hunt, the cheeky Dr Destruction has left a complex riddle as to the whereabouts of the very rare T-Rex egg… convinced it could not be cracked by Weymouth’s young explorers.

Solve the riddle to complete hunt and prove him wrong!

To be in with a chance of winning a bag full of Easter goodies, return your form to the BID office by 1pm on Monday 16th April, making sure that you have written down the name of the shops, the answer to the riddle and your name and contact details.

Trail forms can be collected from the Weymouth BID office at 15 St Alban Street or downloaded here from Friday 30th March.

Please note: All children taking part in the ‘Jurassic Egg Hunt’ must be accompanied by an adult.
