It has travelled all over the world and wowed thousands. Now Luke Jerram’s internationally acclaimed Museum of the Moon is making its way to Dorset for the first time as part of DORSET MOON; the exciting new arts event for summer 2019.
This stunning illuminated sculpture created using high-definition NASA imagery of the moon’s surface will land in Bournemouth, Sherborne and Weymouth. Inside out Dorset, b-side and Bournemouth Arts By the Sea present Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon as the centrepiece for three fantastic lunar-inspired events across Dorset.

Friday 12 – Sunday 14 July, Nothe Fort, Weymouth
Under the Moon – Event Programme Launched!
Dorset Moon have launched the FREE programme of events that visitors can enjoy alongside the spectacular centrepiece of Juke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon. The Under The Moon events have been especially tailored to each location and include dance, installations, soundscapes, concerts and talks, depending on the venue. You can even enjoy a silent disco under the moon too!
