The end of the summer holidays is on the horizon and what better way to end it than by enjoying some fantastic FREE events happening over the August Bank Holiday! Take a look at only a few of the great events and shows taking place over the Bank Holiday Weekend, from dog shows to fireworks.
Weldmar are hosting their own fireworks for the second year on Weymouth Beach with the support of local businesses. With stalls on the seafront from 10.30am and the fireworks beginning at 9.30pm, its a great way to help raise money for a worthy cause and enjoy the Bank Holiday.
Boho are serving all things bacon over the weekend, with infused bacon bourbon and bacon Bloody Marys on the menu!
A local favourite, Quayside is the perfect event to relax on a Bank Holiday, whether you want to sit back by the harbour or want to get up and dance to the sounds from the stage.
Southweld Charity Day will see a fun-packed family day centred around two big charity cup matches to raise money for Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.
Come and cheer on the teams at this year’s Rotary Club of Melcombe Regis’ Dragon Boat Racing!
Great live music will be at The Boot over the weekend. Check the event page to see the line up.
Live music from Jack Daniels and Blazin’ Strings. Bouncy castle, face painting, Gourmet dogs, loads of ciders, the infamous Sausage throwing competition and lots more!
