Brewers Fayre, Preston Beach Road

Situated inside Brewers Fayre, the Dennis the Menace soft play area is perfect for little ones.  The area is supervised by staff, there’s plenty of seating, a great selection on the menu for kids and adults plus free coffee and tea refills!

 

Open Sunday to Thursday 9.30am – 8pm and Friday to Saturday 9.30am – 9pm.

Seashells – Stay & Play

Based in Weymouth, Seashells offer soft play and bouncy castle equipment for parties and events in the surrounding area.

 

They also hold regular ‘Stay & Play’ sessions from 10am-1pm at Upwey Memorial Hall. Sessions are every Monday (term time) and every other Friday. The sessions include bouncy castles, ball pools, ride on’s, a balloon typhoon and more. There’s also refreshments and free squash for the kids.

Jigsaws Play Café, St Mary Street

Right in the centre of town and with a great selection of delicious food including little lunchboxes, it’s the perfect place for younger children. There are plenty of toys, books and fancy dress to keep them entertained. There’s a special gate entry to the play area so you relax and enjoy your coffee whilst they play.

Sealife Centre, Lodmoor Country Park

Great for any age but especially little fans of Nemo and Dory! Weymouth Sealife Centre has loads to offer. With over 1,000 creatures to see from sharks to clownfish to sea turtles. There are plenty of talks and demonstrations and make sure to walk through the glass tunnel!

 

There’s also a great outdoor play area, a sensory garden, splash zone, 3 meal outlets and gift shop.

Sand World, Lodmoor Country Park   

Open from the 6th April – 3rd November, Sandworld is Weymouth’s first ever sand sculpture festival. The theme for 2019 will be “TV & FILM – the Sequel”, featuring Wizard of Oz, Dumbo, Toy Story, Back to the 80’s, Avatar, Jumanji & More!

Fun Factory, Albany Road  

Fun Factory has lots to offer, with a toddler soft play area for the under 3’s and a larger soft play area for 3-12 year olds. There are lots of slides, crawl tubes and they even have a firing cannon room and indoor football pitch!

 

During the summer months, the garden area includes a bouncy castle, zip wire and enclosed football pitch. The Fun Factory is based on the Granby Industrial Estate so the parking is free and there’s loads of it.

Palm House, Swannery Lake

The Palm House is in a great location right next to Weymouth Swannery. Blooming Kids is aimed at the under 5’s and includes indoor and outdoor play, it’s the ideal place to visit rain or shine. The outdoor area is covered in artificial grass and has some great little playhouses, ride on toys and there’s plenty to do inside too.

 

There’s lots of comfy seating for the adults and a good selection of meals and snacks on the menu including homemade baby food for the under 1’s.

 

There’s also the delicious Palm House Pancakes and Waffles and the Palm Room, an idea hire space for parties or functions.

Jolly Ollie’s, New Vic Bar & Restaurant

Jolly Ollie’s is a two storey adventure play area situated inside the New Vic on the seafront. The play area is suitable for 2-10 year olds and is fully supervised by staff. It’s in the perfect central location and just a stone’s throw away from the beach.

Ducklings Toddler Group, RSPB Radipole Lake

Radipole Lake presents a new nature themed toddler group for the under 4s who love to explore! Each session has a wildlife theme and involves an activity outside, a craft activity or game and a themed story as well as time for little ones and parents to have a drink and snack.
