Find out what is going on in Weymouth for Bonfire Night 2019. Weymouth’s Bonfire Night and Guy Fawkes celebrations are one of the most popular fireworks displays in Dorset.
The Weymouth Bonfire Night 2019 fireworks display is one of the town’s biggest community events, where families from in and around Weymouth gather on Weymouth Beach to enjoy the traditional Guy Fawkes celebrations. In 2019, the event organisers are planning a variety of activities for all the family to enjoy including a fireworks display, beach bonfire, fun fair and a children’s competition. The evening will climax with a fabulous free fireworks display over Weymouth’s moonlit bay.
The fairground on the Weymouth Pavilion forecourt opens at 3pm on Tuesday 5th November. Thousands of local children can enjoy the exciting rides and funfair treats. The judging of the homemade Guy Fawkes competition will take place inside the Weymouth Pavilion foyer – visitors are welcome to take a look at the best creations (before they go on the bonfire!)
While enjoying Weymouth Bonfire Night 2019, why not enjoy some of our fantastics bars, pubs and restaurants in the town. There is a great selection of eateries on the seafront and around the Weymouth Harbour – you’ll find something for all the family.
