We Welcome

Year round, there’s so much to see and do in Weymouth. That’s why we are consistently chosen as one of the preferred destinations for tour groups from these shores and beyond. And with £100 million invested in upgrades since the 2012 Olympics, including a new Coach Hub for 2015, these days we are even more accommodating.

Why Choose Weymouth?

When it comes to unique events and attractions, accommodation, restaurants and efficient travel links, very few seaside destinations can match Weymouth.

  • Direct rail links from London and Bristol
  • New Coach Hub proposed for 2015 with coach maintenance facilities and drop off point on the Esplanade
  • Range of accommodation from large hotels to boutique B&Bs
  • Regular events taking place either side of the holiday season
  • Endless cycling and walking trails that take in natural heritage sights
  • Award-winning sandy unspoilt beach
  • Beach and harbour that’s close to the main shopping centre, restaurants and hotels
  • Town centre and esplanade are level to cater for those with restricted mobility

We Explore

Whether your group is adventurous or looking to get closer to nature, there’s so much waiting to be discovered.

Weymouth’s abundance of scenic hiking trails offer breath-taking views of the Jurassic coastline. While for those keen to explore the harbour, town, or countryside by pedal power, cycle hire and cycle paths provide a more active alternative. Group fishing trips, boat rides, kite and windsurfing make life on the ocean waves exciting. While sub aqua diving reveals a whole new world below them.

We Stay

In or out of season, Weymouth has a variety of quality hotels that accommodate groups of all sizes.

With the majority offering views of the harbour, esplanade or ocean, Weymouth is blessed with an abundance of holiday parks with top-class facilities, national hotels and independent guest houses. Regardless of your choice, staff and management will go out of their way to deliver a comfortable and memorable stay for all in your party. Proof of how accommodating we can be is best summed up by the fact that many hotels offer coach parking and group discounts. Check with the hotel before booking.

We Entertain

From live bands to theatre shows and themed seasonal displays, there’s always something on.

Weymouth hosts so many colourful events, famously the 2012 Olympic Games. Visit in June to catch the Weymouth & Portland Armed Forces and Veterans Festival. Fill up on ‘Feast Weymouth’, the 6-week-long food and dining festival in October or November. Get your ghoulish gear on for the Freaky Streets Halloween celebration from 25 – 31 October. Or let the Christmas spirit bring joy to all by taking your group to the Victorian street festival and ‘Shownight’ in December.

We Discover

Jurassic Safaris, a bustling Old Harbour and group horse rides provide attractions for all ages.

When it comes to activities to fill up the days and nights, Weymouth has it all. Wildlife sites attract hundreds of species of birdlife, whilst the ocean is home to schools of playful dolphins frolicking off the coastline. The Sea Life Park complete with 360° viewing tower is a must, and for those days where the weather isn’t playing ball, Sharkys family centre and the Pavillion Theatre Complex are the places to head to. For those never too old to learn, cookery courses and photography days with an expert provide a day of fun, whilst guided cycle tours of the town and countryside are guaranteed to delight.

We Travel

Efficient train links to London or Bristol, plus a new convenient access road make Weymouth a pleasure to get to.

Getting here should be as enjoyable as the time spent enjoying the sights. That’s why Weymouth is on major rail lines that enter straight into the seafront and town centre. If you’re coming by bus, a new Coach Hub that’s proposed for 2015 will mean that your group can be dropped off in the heart of town, on the Esplanade. All of which make this historic seaside town even easier for everyone to visit.
