Weymouth's Big Christmas Ice Skating

 There is nothing quite like skating on real ice and having lots of fun with your friends and family.

Opening Times

Open every day from Friday 1st December to and including Monday 1st January (except Christmas Day).

Skating sessions start at 12 noon weekdays prior to the school holidays (Friday 15th December) and 11am on all other days. The last session starts 6pm Monday – Saturday and 5pm on Sundays, New Year’s Eve & Bank Holidays.

A session = 45 minutes skating on the ice

(Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of your session to allow time for ticket processing and to put on your skates)

These sessions have fewer skaters on the ice, so families can enjoy the extra space to find their feet!

Reserved strictly for the 12s and over, this entertaining twist on Silent Disco will span the age groups, and, is sure to sell out fast… Select one of our prescheduled favourite playlists and let the skates do the rest! Why not dress up in character to really get in the Christmas spirit?

Tickets are just £10 per person when booked Online and £12 on the Door
(Ticket price includes skates and hire of headsets)

Yes, the Ice Rink is real ice and not plastic.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SKATE?

Tickets are priced per 45 minute skating session and include skate hire.

CAN I BUY TICKETS ON THE DAY?

Yes, although ticket availability may be limited, as we are likely to be very busy and may even get fully booked for the most popular session times. Advance purchase is recommended to guarantee your skating session.

WHEN DOES ONLINE BOOKING CLOSE?

Online booking closes midnight the day before.

Terms

WEATHER

The Ice Rink is open come rain or shine.

MINIMUM AGE AND ADULT SUPERVISION

There is no minimum height required to skate, but the minimum age is 3 years.
All children aged from 3 up to, and including, 8 years old must be accompanied on the ice by an adult (18 years old and above) in skates.
Maximum of 3 children aged 8 or under per adult.
Ages 9-12 years must be accompanied by an adult (the adult need not be skating).

It is suggested that a skate aid is booked for little ones to help them find their feet on the ice. Double bladed ‘Bob’ skates are also available for young children. Parents must judge whether their children can skate safely.

In the interests of safety, babies and children cannot be carried on the ice.

SKATES

Skate hire is included in the ticket price. If you wish to bring your own skates please ask a member of staff to check their condition and suitability for our rink.
