Get in to the Christmas spirit with Sleeping Beauty! Weymouth Pantomime are hosting Sleeping Beauty on 9th December 2017 until 1st January 2017.

Bring the family, cheer and laugh as loud as you can… It’s going to be a cracker!

Following the record-breaking success of last year’s Christmas Pantomime JACK AND THE BEANSTALK, Made-to-Measure Productions are delighted be returning to Weymouth Pavilion this Christmas with a brand new enchanting Family Pantomime SLEEPING BEAUTY!

This will be the first professional pantomime production of SLEEPING BEAUTY at the Weymouth Pavilion as far back as we can research and is already set to be the most spectacular and magical show yet! Featuring stunning scenery, incredible illusions, toe-tapping music and AMAZING projected sequences, this year’s show is sure to be another Box Office smash!

We’re delighted to welcome back Weymouth’s Favourite Dame LEE REDWOOD in the role of Queen Thelma. Sleeping Beauty will mark Lee’s 5th Christmas Pantomime at Weymouth Pavilion playing the Dame and audiences can expect this year’s costumes and wigs to be more fabulous than ever before!

Also returning for the third year is the hilarious GWYNFRYN WEST as MUDDLES, the Court Jester!

On the day of PRINCESS BRIAR ROSE’S christening, the evil CARABOSSE – scorned by being left out of the celebrations – bestows an evil curse upon the baby girl, foretelling that before the Princess’ 18th Birthday, she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die! Only the fabulous FAIRY STARDUST can help out the Princess and try to rewrite her fate!

Will Prince Daniel of Dorchester be able to break the curse with True Loves Kiss? Will Carabosse’s curse reign forever?

Will Queen Thelma fit through the door with her outrageous frocks? You’ll have to come along this Christmas to find out!

The Panto will feature a “Travel through time” interactive experience including a new dragon.

Special effects and illusions will be created by Twins FX who have provided previous entertainment in Weymouth Pantomimes. The Twins FX will also be creating bespoke scenery and illusions.
