Getting to Weymouth
Dorset is served by a reliable rail network between many of the UK’s principal towns and local stations throughout the country. We have direct rail links to London and Bristol, with a central train station close to the town and beach.
By road, travelling to Dorset is an enjoyable and scenic journey, being only a couple of hours ride from London and passing through beautiful countryside along the way.
Once here, enjoy the peace and quiet – there is only 5 English counties left which do not have a motorway and Dorset is one of them!
Getting Around Weymouth
Once you’re arrived in the wonderful seaside town of Weymouth there are plenty of ways to get around the town and see the surrounding area.
Our rural location makes Weymouth a great base for walking and cycling in Dorset. Make use of the iconic South West Coast Path national trail or the National Cycle Route, both of which pass through the town and take in many attractions.
The Jurassic Coaster bus takes you along the scenic coastal roads of the region and is a great way to explore without your car.
